Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a very substantive meeting with my Turkish colleague and friend Hakan Fidan in Luxembourg. We discussed most recent geopolitical developments, the new momentum for peace, our joint efforts to achieve it, and ways to make it just and lasting. I congratulated Türkiye on the peace breakthrough in Gaza. We discussed how the impulse of peace in the Middle East can help bring peace to Ukraine and Europe. I informed my Turkish counterpart about the outcomes of the meeting between President Zelenskyy and President Trump, as well as the current frontline situation. We focused on European security, developments in the Black Sea region, and ways to further deepen the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Türkiye in the areas of security, defense industry, trade, and humanitarian cooperation. Grateful to Türkiye for its unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity".
