Finland will deliver its 30th materiel assistance package to Ukraine. A decision on the matter was made by the President of the Republic on the proposal of the the Government on 17th October 2025.

"The capabilities delivered in this package will cost Finland an estimated EUR 52 million. The package consists mostly of new orders from Finnish companies. Finland has now delivered defence materiel to Ukraine to a total value of EUR 2.9 billion. Relative to the size of its economy, Finland is one of the countries that has supported Ukraine the most. This week we have also announced participation in NATO's PURL initiative, which procures weapons systems critical to Ukraine from the United States. The future of a free and safe Europe will be decided in Ukraine - it requires persistence and backbone from all the allies," Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen says.

In spring 2025, the Ministry of Defence launched a programme to support Ukraine by procuring products destined for Ukraine from the Finnish defence industry. The goal is to meet Ukraine's critical needs, ensure that the procured products are suitable for donation and safeguard the production and delivery capacity of companies.

For operational reasons and to ensure that the delivery reaches its destination, more detailed information on the content of the assistance, manner of delivery or schedule will not be provided. Both Ukraine's needs and the resources of the Finnish Defence Forces have been taken into account when deciding on the assistance.
