Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: «On this very intense diplomatic day in Warsaw, I was glad to meet with my friends Radosław Sikorski and Kęstutis Budrys in our Lublin Triangle format.
We compared notes on the recent geopolitical developments and security challenges. We share a common vision: Europe needs to build a new modern air defence shield, and Ukraine should be its integral part and one of the key contributors.
Together with my Polish and Lithuanian colleagues we agreed on the next steps for further institualisation of the Lublin Triangle format, in particular for the aim of democratising Belarus through civic and expert diplomacy, educational, and cultural programs.
We also discussed the outcomes of parliamentary elections in Moldova and their impact for the region of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as for the dynamic of our European integration».
