Russian Deputy Defence Minister Vasily Osmakov holds talks with Deputy Prime Minister of Laos

Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic General Chansamone Chanyalath.
'We highly appreciate your personal attitude towards Russia, Russian-Lao cooperation and our cooperation in the military sphere,' said Vasily Osmakov.
Deputy heads of the Russian Defence Ministry noted a good dynamic in the development of Russia-Lao relations within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement on military cooperation.
In addition, General Chansamone Chanyalath stressed that the party political leadership of the country and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party attach great importance to the visit of the representative delegation of the Russian Defence Ministry to Vientiane' because it makes a significant contribution to the development of cooperation between our countries'.
