At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will visit China from November 3 to 4 for the 30th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on Friday. In response to media inquiries about the arrangements and China's expectations for the meeting, FM spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that during the meeting, the two premiers will comprehensively review cooperation progress in various areas, plan the next stage of collaboration, and exchange in-depth views on issues of common concern.

Guo said that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-Russia relations have maintained a high level of development, with practical cooperation across various sectors advancing steadily. The regular meeting between the two premiers serves as an important mechanism for implementing the consensus reached by the two leaders and coordinating practical cooperation between the two sides.

Guo noted that next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation, as well as the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination.

"We look forward to using this regular meeting between the two premiers to further enhance mutual trust, build greater consensus, deepen cooperation, and inject new impetus into the development of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era," Guo said.
