On October 16, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.
Initiated by Hungary, the conversation focused on preparations for the events to be held as part of the dialogue between Russia and the United States, as agreed on the same day when President Vladimir Putin held talks with President of the United States Donald Trump over the phone.
The two ministers agreed to continue working closely together.
