On December 4, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin met with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Russia, Oded Joseph.
The officials exchanged views on the situation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone, including developments around the Gaza Strip, in the context of the ceasefire agreement reached on October 10 and UN Security Council Resolution 2803 on Gaza. The discussion also covered current bilateral issues. Both sides emphasised their mutual interest in further strengthening Russian-Israeli relations and expanding practical cooperation across various fields.
