Tehran, IRNA -- Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has emphasized that transferring the values of the revolution and protecting the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is the permanent mission of the IRGC and Iran's redline.
"The transfer of the ideals and values of Imam Khomeini began in 1963 and continues today with seriousness in the areas of service provision and confrontation with enemies," he said.
Brigadier General Fadavi noted the efforts by enemies to create insecurity in the region, and said that if any enemy wants to threaten "our security, we will deal with them with all our might."
He considered the United States and the Israeli regime as the main cause of insecurity in the world and the source of conflicts in the Persian Gulf and Latin America, adding that these countries have not achieved a single victory in recent years.
