Iran decries Western governments analysis about sanctions on Iran

Qom, Jan 2, IRNA -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Wednesday derided the western governments for looking at sanctions as a leverage to get concession from Iran.
Ramin Mehmanparast said that the western governments analysis about sanctions is totally wrong and they should bear in mind that the Iranian nation never give up their legitimate rights by sanctions.
He told reporters that Iranian nation are well aware that if they withdraw from their stand on peaceful nuclear programs, the western governments will proceed with sanctions until upcoming presidential election.
He said that the western governments always resort to various pretexts to exert pressure on Iran and if the dispute about nuclear program be resolved, they will trumpet another issue such as human rights.
Asked about level of the upcoming negotiation of Iran and the Group 5+1, he said that the level of negotiations will not change.
The spokesman said that Iran is ready to resolve the nuclear dispute with Group 5+1, and that Iran believes in settlement of the dispute.
