US Congress report claiming China wages disinformation campaign against French Rafale jets is disinformation itself: FM

In response to a question about a commission created by the US Congress that released a report, which claimed that China led a "disinformation campaign" against the French Rafale jets, involving AI technology. The campaign ran after the India-Pakistan military clash to promote the Chinese J-35s instead, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Thursday that this so-called "commission" the reporter mentioned always harbors ideological bias against China and has no credibility to speak of.
The commission's report itself is disinformation, Mao said.
The report by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission claimed that "According to French intelligence, China initiated a disinformation campaign to hinder sales of French Rafales in favor of its own J-35s, and it used fake social media accounts to propagate AI and video game images of supposed 'debris' from the planes China's weaponry destroyed," some Indian media outlets reported.
