Gaza's Government Media Office says Israel has carried out 393 violations of the October ceasefire agreement, killing at least 279 Palestinians, including children and women.

The office said 279 Palestinians were killed, including children, women, and the elderly, and 652 others were injured as of the evening of Tuesday. The report added that 35 people were abducted by the Israeli forces during raids.

The office decried the ceasefire violations as "serious and systematic" and "a breach of international humanitarian law."

According to the statement, the violations included 174 air, land, and artillery strikes, 113 shooting incidents, targeting civilians, residential areas, and displaced people's tents for families.

That also includes 17 incursions by military vehicles into residential and agricultural zones beyond the temporary "Yellow Line" introduced under US President Donald Trump's ceasefire plan, which runs from northern Gaza to the outskirts of Rafah in the south.

Some homes and civilian infrastructure were also destroyed.

The office said these actions amount to "collective punishment" and constitute "a grave breach of the provisions of the Geneva Conventions."

The office held Israel "fully responsible for all humanitarian and security repercussions" of these violation actions, which thwart any international efforts to maintain the ceasefire.

The statement urged Trump, mediators, and the UN Security Council to take serious and effective action to halt the Israeli attacks and press the regime to adhere strictly to the ceasefire and its humanitarian protocol.

Israel has killed nearly 70,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, before the ceasefire deal, brokered by the United States.
