On EU Sanctions

On October 23, 2025, the Council of the European Union adopted another package of sanctions, which also covers the activities of a number of banks and companies from third countries, including Tajikistan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan is deeply concerned and expresses regret over the inclusion of certain Tajikistan banks on this sanctions list.
The Republic of Tajikistan adheres to its international obligations and is always ready to cooperate with international partners to jointly prevent risks associated with possible circumvention of sanctions measures.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is thoroughly studying and monitoring the situation and is taking necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences that these sanctions may entail.
