During a two-week period, Israeli occupation forces killed 159 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The OIC Media Observatory for Israeli Crimes against Palestinians recorded 81 fatalities at the hands of the occupation forces from October 14 to October 20, 2025, alongside 110 injuries, all occurring despite an active ceasefire.
In the preceding week alone, 120 martyrs were confirmed in Gaza, in addition to five fatalities in the West Bank. From October 7, 2023, to October 20, 2025, the Observatory has documented a total of 69,272 Palestinian martyrs, with injuries amounting to 179,395 during this timeframe.
The occupation forces slaughtered seven children and three women of the Abu Shaaban family in the eastern Gaza region. Additionally, they conducted airstrikes in various locations, including Al-Fukhkhari town in Khan Yunis, the Shuja'iyya neighbourhood, the Jabalia refugee camp, Al-Shakoosh and Al-Mawasi, alongside West Rafah, the Al-Rimal neighbourhood, northern Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, and east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp. These attacks were reportedly justified by the occupying army based on allegations that those killed crossed a designated 'yellow line.' On October 17, there was a marked escalation in military operations, with the occupation forces intensifying bombardments across the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous fatalities. The occupation's military announced that it struck 123 designated targets in a blatant contravention of the existing ceasefire agreement.
The Observatory reported the retrieval of 121 Palestinian corpses over the past week. This recovery was documented by Palestinians, highlighting the atrocities faced by those individuals whose remains were transferred by the occupying forces, in compliance with the terms set forth in the ceasefire agreement.
The occupation authorities have halted the entry of humanitarian aid following the closure of the Rafah crossing, which has left approximately 22,000 individuals requiring medical treatment or urgent care in a state of limbo, pending authorisation to seek medical assistance abroad.
Over the past week, the West Bank experienced 448 military incursions by Israeli forces, resulting in the arrest of 162 Palestinians, including five minors. The operations also led to the death of one child and injuries to six others. Notably, the occupation forces conducted raids on educational institutions, specifically targeting a girls' secondary school in Ar-Rifa'iyya village, Al-Khalil, and another school in Kisan village, situated south of Teqoa. These actions not only instilled fear among the students but also involved intimidation tactics against the teaching staff, discouraging any discussions regarding political prisoners. Additionally, extremist settlers obstructed students' access to educational facilities in the Duma and Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya villages of Nablus.
Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of demolitions and confiscations in various locations. In Tubas, they demolished a residential structure, a commercial store, and two barns, and bulldozed the floor of a car showroom in Al-Quds. In Al-Khalil, a private vehicle was confiscated, and critical infrastructure was affected as the primary road near the Tayasir village was bulldozed during the operation in Tubas. Additionally, agricultural land in the town of as-Samu was razed. In Kafr Qaddum village, Qalqilya, and at the Deir Sharaf checkpoint in Nablus, the occupation forces confiscated cash and gold jewellery from Palestinian individuals during a sweep of arrests initiated in Ariha. Moreover, occupation authorities issued evacuation notices to 10 Palestinian families, mandating their departure from the Einun and Tubas Plain areas.
As for continued assaults against mosques, Itamar Ben-Gvir, the extremist Israeli Security Minister with far-right affiliations, conducted a second incursion into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque within a span of several days, leading a contingent of Israeli extremists. Concurrently, an Israeli occupation soldier infiltrated the Al-Hijra Mosque in the Beit Hanina area of Al-Quds while congregants were engaged in prayer. Additionally, Israeli occupation forces executed a raid on the mosque in the Deir Abu Da'if village, performing searches that disrupted local worship practices.
In the past week, West Bank villages have experienced a total of 117 incidents attributed to settler violence, significantly impacting the ongoing olive harvest season. Specifically, there were 66 targeted attacks across 59 villages, during which 38 Palestinian communities faced direct assaults from both extremist settlers and occupying forces, hindering Palestinian farmers from accessing their olive groves. Additionally, in nine villages, extremist settlers engaged in the destruction of agricultural resources by cutting down, uprooting, and incinerating olive trees. Furthermore, olive crops were reported stolen from 12 villages, exacerbating the challenges faced by local farmers during this critical harvest period.
In Um al-Safa village, settlers appropriated three beehives and vandalised four additional hives. In Burqa village, Ramallah, they also damaged a water storage tank. Further incidents included the incineration of a vehicle and a residential structure in Beitin and Ramon villages, as well as another vehicle in Beit Fajjar village, Bethlehem.
In the Al-Matawi region of Salfit, settlers systematically dismantled an agricultural barn, capped a water borehole, levelled the terrain using bulldozers, and removed multiple trees from the site.
Approximately 30 dunums of agricultural land were cleared by settlers in the northern Jordan Valley near Tubas, resulting in significant damage to the local water infrastructure and disrupting crop production. Additionally, in Beit Hassan village, Nablus, livestock belonging to settlers were permitted to graze over 200 dunums of arable land, resulting in extensive damage to agricultural property and crops.
During a series of seven settlement activities, Israeli occupation forces confiscated a total of 3,712 dunams of land from Azzun for the construction of a settlement-related access road. Additionally, 21,307 dunams of land were appropriated from the towns of Jayyus and Azzun for the establishment of a security barrier encircling the "Tzofim" settlement. In Al-Quds, a plot of land in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighbourhood was expropriated for settlement expansion, specifically to develop it into a public park.
Further confiscations included 70.147 dunams from the villages of Qaryut, al-Sawiya, and Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya in the Nablus area, intended for the creation of a buffer zone around the "Eli" settlement. In Salfit, occupation forces carried out land-clearing operations within the perimeter surrounding the Ariel settlement. At the same time, settler groups initiated bulldozing operations between the villages of Beit Imrin and Burqa to establish a new outpost.
Moreover, settler attempts were reported to erect temporary structures on land within Beit Kahil in Al-Khalil and in the Beit Iksa area of Al-Quds. In the northern Jordan Valley, specifically in Tubas, settlers took control of water springs, effectively restricting Palestinian access to these vital resources.
The Observatory documented a total of 1,830 criminal incidents perpetrated by the Israelis over a one-week period in multiple Palestinian territories. Cumulatively, from October 7, 2023, through the date of this report, there have been 342,540 recorded offences.
