RAMSTEIN, Germany -- From September 12 to October 3, 2025, the Royal Air Force (RAF) will host its multinational exercise, Cobra Warrior 25-2.
Allies Canada, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom and the United States come together at RAF Waddington, United Kingdom, for the large-scale, multinational exercise. The exercise will focus on the high-end spectrum of warfighting, deliberately designed to be challenging to all participants.
Royal Air Force's Group Captain Ray Morley stated: "Cobra Warrior is one of our Combat Air Collective Training events where we practice in the Joint space and alongside our allied partners, in defeating peer threats within a contested, degraded and operationally limited environment, at a time and place of our choosing".
The aim of the exercise is to develop the joint mission planning, integration, and tactical skills of all participating aircrew and supporting elements within a Composite Air Operation (COMAO) environment.
To safely execute training in this demanding environment, Cobra Warrior 25-2 provides valuable opportunities for all Force Elements (FEs) to practice and develop Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) in complex scenarios against a capable adversary.
Allied, Fighters, Transport aircraft, Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (ISR) platforms and the U.S. B-52 Stratofortress are among some of the many assets participating in this iteration of Cobra Warrior, providing participants an opportunity to further enhance Allied interoperability and integration during the complex mission scenarios.
The Cobra Warrior series offers Allies realistic combined air operations where crews operate in a complex and congested air environment. These challenging scenarios are specially designed to enhance interoperability and increase combat readiness, building a stronger and more agile Alliance.
