8U49 Natasha
The 8U49 ("Natasha") bomb was developed in the 1950s in the KB-11 for tactical aviation. The first atomic bomb for use with supersonic aircraft, mastered by serial production. The length is 3365 mm, diameter 580 mm, weight 450 kg. Aerodynamic shape with low coefficient of resistance. Tail feathers of the "free feather" type. Bombing is allowed from a height of 500 to 30 000 m and at speeds of up to 3000 km / h both in horizontal flight and with a complex form of maneuver. It is adopted by front and long-range aviation. Designed and adopted in service in the 1960s. Initially, the carrier of the 8U49 was a small - scale supersonic front - line bomber Yak-26, but subsequently the list of carriers was significantly expanded.
