Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Together with my French colleague and friend Jean-Noël Barrot, we held comprehensive talks on our bilaretal agenda and current diplomatic activities to achieve a just peace. I thank France for being our close ally and reliable partner.

I highly value Minister Barrot's personal leadership and confirmation that France remains committed to supporting Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia. I informed in detail about the battlefield situation and damage to our energy system following Russia's recent massive terror attacks.

I outlined Ukraine's priority defense needs, above all in air defense. We focused on further joint efforts to advance peace process, including the future system of security guarantees for Ukraine.

I emphasized the Ukraine considers EU membership as an important element of future security guarantees. We also exchanged views on steps to increase sanctions on Russia, in particular its shadow fleet, and on the long-awaited decision to enable the full use of Russia's frozen assets as soon as possible.

Grateful to France and the French people for their steadfast military, humanitarian, and energy support, as well as strong backing for Ukraine in international organizations.

I expressed special gratitude for my counterpart's engagement in efforts to return the deported Ukrainian children and support the opening of the children's rights protection centers in Kharkiv and Dnipro. Together, we shape a just peace for Ukraine and a secure future for the whole of Europe".
