As part of a working visit to The Hague (Netherlands) to participate in the 30th session of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a bilateral working meeting with the Deputy Director General for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Joost Flamand.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda, including the Ukrainian-Dutch political dialogue and cooperation within international organizations. Olexandr Mischenko expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of Ukraine by the Netherlands amid Russian aggression, which is especially important in these challenging times for our country.
The Deputy Minister provided detailed information to his Dutch counterpart about the situation at the front and arms production in Ukraine, and welcomed the prospects for joint weapons production with the Netherlands. The Ukrainian diplomat emphasized that Ukraine is ready to share its combat experience with its partners, including the Netherlands.
On his part, Joost Flamand assured that the support for Ukraine from the Netherlands remains steadfast, which is a particularly important signal ahead of the parliamentary debates on Ukraine scheduled in the States General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on November 27, 2025.
