The Presidents of Lithuania and Ukraine discussed solutions to the war started by Russia

On Monday, ahead of the emergency summit of the European Council (EC), President Gitanas Nausėda spoke by telephone with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During the conversation, the leaders discussed the latest developments in efforts to end the war started by Russia. The President of Ukraine informed President Nausėda about his talks with U.S. representatives in Geneva.
President Nausėda reaffirmed Lithuania's strong support for Ukraine, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and expressed his support for accelerating negotiations on Ukraine's EU membership by 2030.
