Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I held a substantive meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo during her visit to Kyiv. I informed her about the current battlefield situation and the consequences of Russia's latest large-scale attack on Ternopil and other Ukrainian cities. We count on a comprehensive and decisive briefing by the UN Secretariat on this horrific attack at tomorrow's UN Security Council meeting. We agreed on the need for firm and united international actions to stop Russia's war and advance a just peace. We coordinated efforts on further humanitarian assistance, energy resilience, accountability for Russia's crimes, and the return of abducted Ukrainian children. I thanked Rosemary A. DiCarlo for joining today's IV International Food from Ukraine Conference in Kyiv on behalf of the UN Secretary-General, UN's vital humanitarian support and promotion of the UN Charter principles, in particular on sovereignty and territorial integrity of states within internationally recognized borders."
