Ukraine has received the highest ratings in the 2025 Enlargement Package report, which was released today by the European Commission. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
"We welcome that the report confirms Ukraine's consistent progress on the path toward EU membership. This is our best result in three years - and most importantly, Ukraine has never received a negative 'backsliding' assessment," emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Head of Government also stressed that the EU report highlights Ukraine's progress in preparing for accession talks and its readiness to open negotiating clusters.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the course towards EU membership is among the top priorities of the President, the Verkhovna Rada, and the Government.
"We are confidently moving toward full membership in the European Union - a goal that brought millions of Ukrainians to the Maidan nearly 13 years ago, and one we have since defended and enshrined in our Constitution. Ukraine is an integral part of Europe," emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.
