FARNBOROUGH (Britain) July 21 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom's airline, Gazpromavia, will receive 10 Superjet 100 aircraft under a $323-million deal signed on Wednesday by Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and the Russian energy giant's equipment supplier Gazprom Komplektatsiya.

The companies signed a memorandum of intent at the Farnborough International Air Show underway near London.

The Superjet 100 is a family of medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi in cooperation with U.S. and European aviation corporations, including Boeing, Snecma, Thales, Messier Dowty, Liebherr Aerospace and Honeywell. The plane is designed to carry 75-95 passengers up to 4,500 kilometers.

First SSJ100 planes are to be supplied to Gazpromavia in 2012.

The company, which operates domestic and international passenger and cargo charters, mainly in support of the oil and gas industry, currently has 34 planes and 106 helicopters.
