PUTIN APPROVES STAFF OF RUSSIAN COMMISSION FOR COOPERATION WITH NATO

MOSCOW, March 23 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin has approved the staff of the Russian intergovernmental commission for cooperation with NATO and implementation of the basic act on mutual relations, cooperation and security between the Russian Federation and the North Atlantic alliance.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Chizhov were appointed chairman and vice chairman of the commission.
The new commission comprises presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko, heads of the FSB service Viktor Komogorov, deputy director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Valery Rozanov, deputy secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Spassky, representatives of the Defense Ministry, Transportation Ministry, the Atomic Energy Agency, the Information Technologies and Communications Ministry, the Industry and Energy Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, the Education and Science Ministry, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the Health and Social Development Ministry, the Russian Aerospace Agency, the Federal Agency of the Sea and River Transport, the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc.
