Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Col. General Liang Guanglie, minister of National Defense who doubles as a state councilor of the People's Republic of China on a visit to the DPRK, when interviewed by mediapersons in Pyongyang Tuesday said that the Sino-DPRK relationship sealed in blood will last forever.
He noted that his visit to the DPRK helped him to know well about the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and working hard displayed by the Korean people in socialist construction under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
Consolidating and developing through generations the traditional Sino-DPRK relationship provided by the leaders of the elder generation is the desire of the two peoples, he said, and went on:
We could feel deep friendship of the Korean people to the Chinese people during our stay in the DPRK.
The Sino-DPRK friendly and cooperative relationship has steadily grown stronger under the deep care of the leaders of the two countries.
We extend warm greetings and best wishes to the people and army of the DPRK on behalf of the Chinese people and army.
We will make positive efforts together with the comrades of the DPRK for the beautiful future of the two countries as well as the regional and global peace and stability.
