Kim Jong Il Hosts Dinner for Wen Jiabao

Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il hosted a dinner in honor of Wen Jiabao, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, on an official goodwill visit to the DPRK at the Paekhwawon State Guest House in the evening of Monday.
Present there on invitation were Wen Jiabao, Yang Jiechi, minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Jiarui, head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., the Communist Party of China, Zhang Ping, minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission, Chen Deming, minister of Commerce, Qiu Xiaoxiong, vice secretary-general of the State Council and director of the Premier's Office, Wu Dawei, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and other suite members.
Present there were Jang Song Thaek and Kim Yang Gon, department directors of the WPK Central Committee, Kang Sok Ju, first vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Yong Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.
Kim Jong Il made a toast at the dinner.
Then Wen Jiabao made a toast.
The dinner proceeded in an amicable atmosphere overflowing with friendship from its beginning to its end.
At the end of the dinner Kim Jong Il said goodbye to Wen Jiabao.
Wen expressed profound thanks to Kim Jong Il for having accorded him cordial hospitality during his visit.
