Headquarters 14th Air Force - A-1, Personnel
The mission of the 14th AF, A-1 staff, is to provide the 14th Air Force Commander (COMSPACEAF), staff and subordinate commanders personnel and manpower support during contingencies, wartime and peace-time operations.
The A-1 staff is also tasked with:
- Tracking all Promotion Recommendation Forms for 14th AF A-Staff and the 614th SOPG for all officers, and Lt Colonels and above for the 30th SW and 50th SW;
- Tracking all A-Staff performance reports and decorations, and maintaining monthly metrics on the timeliness of staff reports, as well as the 4 wings making up 14th Air Force;
- Coordinating 14th AF Officer PME recommendations for the commander;
- Overseeing annual staff Fitness Assessment Program;
- Monitoring annual awards: General O'Malley award and AFOUA;
- Staffing POC for all officer assignments, to include quarterly VML, requisitions, staff requirements, and by-name requests;
- Working with base manpower office on all 14th AF reorganization initiatives and manpower management;
- Staffing Civilian personnel POC; and
- The Commander's POC with Senior Officer Matters; coordinating GO performance reports and decorations with AFSPC.
