  • "Muscle" hijacker aboard United Airlines Flight 175, bound from Boston to Los Angeles, who helped crash it into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
  • Muscle hijackers Ahmed al-Ghamdi, Saeed al-Ghamdi, Hamza al-Ghamdi and Ahmed al-Haznawi all came from a cluster of three towns in the isolated al Bahah region of Saudi Arabia, and they shared a tribal affiliation.
