Raptor 4003 ascended into aviation history, attaining the F/A-22 program's 5,000th hour of safe, successful flight test. Maj. Jim Dutton, F/A-22 Combined Test Force pilot, reached the 5,000-hour mark while flying a developmental test mission over Edwards.

The Air Force's newest aircraft reached a milestone June 18 when the 43rd Fighter Squadron flew its 200th F/A-22 Raptor sortie.
