
Rheinmetall Air Defence of Switzerland - "Allegations are without foundation"

Rheinmetall Air Defence of Switzerland emphatically denies any wrongdoing with regard to the acquisition of defence contracts in India.
"In its dealings with persons responsible for the procurement of defence materiel in India, Rheinmetall Air Defence has broken no rules and done nothing wrong. We have invariably adhered to the legal norms and relevant regulations", declared a company spokesperson.
Rheinmetall Air Defence has yet to receive any notification as to the basis of the CBI's allegations which could in any way connect the company to a possible corruption case.
The company will do everything in its power to clear up these allegations in cooperation with the Indian authorities, and to allay these unwarranted suspicions as expeditiously as possible.
With regard to future projects as well, the company is eager to clear this matter up, thus ensuring that nothing interferes with the successful pursuit of it longstanding relations with the Indian armed forces.
