Jalili: Syria enemies desperately attempt to hit resistance

Damascus, Feb 2, IRNA -- Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said attacks against Syria infra-structures and continuation of economic sanctions are desperate efforts of enemies to hit resistance.
Upon arrival at Damascus Airport, Jalili told reporters that enemies claim that they are supporters of Syrian nation but continue to plan conspiracies against them.
He said that his visit to Damascus is in direction of bilateral relations and presenting different assistance to decrease problems of Syrian people, who are facing with enemies conspiracies.
Jalili expressed hope that his visit to Syria could be successful and help form national dialogue and present assistance to rebuild the country and help Syria resist against world hegemonic powers' plots.
The secretary of SNSC stressed that Islamic world would not allow attacks against Syria.
He said that Islamic world and Arab world should try to decrease Syria problems, adding that Syria is the first front of Islamic world in confrontation with the Zionist enemy.
Saeed Jalili arrived in Damascus on Saturday afternoon to exchange views with Syrian officials concerning the Zionist regime air raid against a research center .
He is to meet with President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday.
Meeting with Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi and Foreign Minister Walid al – Moalem are scheduled for him, too.
The Zionist regime fighters invaded Syrian air space last Wednesday, January 30, 2013 and attacked a research center in Rif province.
