The South Korean Red Cross announced the first shipment of fertilizers to North Korea

President of the South Korean Red Cross, Lee Yoon-goo, sent a notification on April 13 to his northern counterpart, Jang Jae-un, through South-North Red Cross liaison officers at Panmunjom that the South will send the first shipment of fertilizers to North Korea.
The South will make a total of twenty-seven shipments in order to send 200,000 tons of fertilizers to the North Korean Red Cross. The delivery is expected to be completed by mid-June starting with the first shipment on April 16.
