o In response to telephone notification issued by the North on April 2, the South has sent telephone notification this morning under the name of Kim Gwang-lim, chairman of the Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Promotion Committee. In the notification, the South
- accepted the North's proposal of holding the 4th Working-level Consultative Meeting on Connection of Railroads and Roads and the 3rd Working-level Consultative Meeting on Prevention of Flood in the Imjin River Basin in Gaesong on April 8-10.
- proposed to hold the 3rd Working-level Consultative Meeting on Clearing Settlement in Paju on April 20-22.
o Responding to the telephone notification sent by the South this morning, the North has sent telephone notification issued under the name of Choi Young-gun, chairman of the Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Promotion Committee. In the notification, the North
- confirmed the holding of the 4th Working-level Consultative Meeting on Connection of Railroads and Roads, and the 3rd Working-level Consultative Meeting on Prevention of Flood in the Imjin River Basin in Gaesong on April 8-10.
- accepted the South's proposal to hold the 3rd Working-level Consultative Meeting on Clearing Settlement in Paju on April 20-22.
o Through the contact of liaison officers at Panmunjum this afternoon, the South and North exchanged the list of representatives of ¡¸the 4th Working-level Consultative Meeting on Connection of Railroads and Roads¡¹ and ¡¸the 3rd Working-level Consultative Meeting on Prevention of Flood in the Imjin River Basin¡¹.
o The meeting will be held in Gaesong on April 8(Thu.)-10(Sat.), and representatives will stay at Janamsan Inn for three days and two nights.
