Inter-Korean talks in various areas are being held on a regular basis and are becoming institutionalized.

There have been great efforts to build trust, based on mutual respect through a number of inter-Korean talks.

Procedures for holding dialogue have been simplified. There have been meetings where delegations held talks and returned to their respective sides on the same day (between the cities of Gaesong in North Korea and Munsan and Sokch in the ROK)
