Cancellation of Planned U.S. Nuclear War Exercise Demanded

Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification reportedly released a statement on August 1 denouncing the U.S. for its planned nuclear war exercise against the DPRK.
Noting that the military forces recently deployed in south Korea would stage the Ulji Focus Lens joint military exercise for ten days, the statement said: this indicates that the U.S. is putting its plan for a nuclear war against the north into practice.
If the U.S. has a true will to have talks with the north, it should immediately cancel its plan for a nuclear war exercise and conclude a non-aggression treaty with the north, it urged.
