Ra Leaves for Russia, China for Talks on NK

National Security Advisor Ra Jong-yil left for Russia and China on Sunday (March 30) to discuss ways of resolving the North Korean nuclear crisis, Presidential spokeswoman Song Kyoung-hee said.
During his trip, Ra will meet figures in the fields of foreign affairs and security to discuss the political situation in Northeast Asia and the North Korean nuclear standoff, according to Song.
“This will be Ra's first meeting with his Russian and Chinese counterparts,” Song said. “We hope Seoul-Moscow and Seoul-Beijing cooperation in the foreign affairs and security fields will be enhanced through this occasion.”
