Anti-U.S. surprise demonstration in S. Korea

KCNA

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Over 30 students under the South Korean Federation of University Student Councils reportedly held a surprise demonstration in front of the U.S. embassy in Seoul on March 26. The students stood on the wall of the embassy building, holding U.S. flags bearing slogans "Go to Bush" and shouting "No War" and other slogans. They also scattered the texts of a statement demanding the U.S. halt the Iraqi war of aggression and remove the danger of war from the Korean Peninsula.
Noting that Iraq has turned into a hell on earth due to thousands of missiles launched by the U.S., the statement urged the U.S. to immediately stop its mass killings and barbarous war of aggression in Iraq.
It is as clear as noonday that the next target of the U.S. invasion is the Korean Peninsula, the statement said, adding:
"You must know well your aggressive design on the whole world compelled us to stand on this place."
    The statement went on:
We can not tolerate the U.S. war of aggression against Iraq.
We can not remain a passive onlooker to the war clouds hanging over the Korean Peninsula.
Our actions against the U.S. and the war of mass killing will rage wherever GIs, aggressors, go in this land.
