An inspection team from Hyundai Asan Co. and Korea Land Corp. (KOLAND) visited the North Korean city of Gaesong, the site for a planned industrial complex for South Korean businesses, early Friday morning, via a makeshift cross-frontier road along the west coast.
The 37-member delegation arrived at the South's northernmost Dorasan Station by bus to cross the military demarcation line and pass through a North Korean temporary immigration office at the Panmun Station.
They returned to Dorasan around 4 p.m. after looking around a construction site for the industrial base in Gaesong.
The Gaesong complex is 87.5 kilometers from Seoul.
The South Korean delegation include Hyundai Asan Chairman Chung Mong-Hun and President Kim Yoon-kyu. into compliance with its international obligations,” he said.
