RAW cannot carry out terrorism without internal help, says Jabbar

HYDERABAD, Feb 7 (APP): Advisor to Chief Executive on National Affairs, Information and Media Development, Javed Jabbar has said that besides foreign hand, some domestic elements were also involved in acts of terrorism in various parts of the country. "Indian agency RAW cannot achieve its nefarious designs without help of some local elements," he pointed out while talking to the editors of newspapers and senior journalists at Hyderabad circuit house on Feb. 6. Javed Jabbar expressed deep grief and sorrow on behalf of Chief Executive, General Pervaz Musharraf and the Federal Cabinet on the tragic death and injuries to people in the on Feb. 5's train blast in Hyderabad. He said airport security system in the country was according to world standards and the international organisations have recognised the safety measures adopted at the airports. He, however, said there was a need to further improve the security measures at airport, in the public transport and Railways to curb terrorism. He said that public education campaign has already been launched in electronic media in order to create awareness among the people about terrorist activities. He said the Hyderabad blast took place on the day when the people were observing the Kashmir Solidarity Day. Besides Kashmir, the Indian state terrorism is also active in Pakistan, he said and added that neighboring country was making all out efforts to declare Pakistan as a terrorist state at International Forum, while true fact was that Pakistan was victim of terrorism.
