She assured Turkey, which is worried about Kurdish separatism, that the United States is firmly committed to a unified Iraq.

- IRAQ / SUNNI PARTY VOA 05 Feb 2005 -- In a setback to Iraqi hopes of creating an inclusive transitional government after last Sunday's historic elections, the country's largest Sunni-Arab political party announced on Saturday that it will take no part in government, except in the drafting of the country's constitution.
