| June 29, 2003 Release Number: 03-06-98 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BRIGADE CONDUCTS RAIDS IN CITY MOSUL, Iraq -- Soldiers 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) executed a series of separate raids on homes in Mosul June 28. The homes belonged to suspected associates of Abu Ammash (Wahabi Extremists). The soldiers detained 15 individuals and confiscated four AK-47 rifles, one 9mm pistol, one hand grenade, one artillery round.
