| June 6, 2003 Release Number: 03-06-21 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE SAILOR KILLED, THREE INJURED AT AL KUT CAMP DOHA, Kuwait - A U.S. Navy Seabee serving with the First Marine Expeditionary Force died early Friday morning in Al Kut after handling unexploded ordnance near a barracks. The sailor was killed instantly and three others were injured and are in stable condition. The names are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. The incident is under investigation. -30- |
