| June 3, 2003 Release Number: 03-06-07 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FOURTH INFANTRY DIVISION SOLDIER KILLED CAMP DOHA, Kuwait -- A soldier assigned to the U.S. Army's Fourth Infantry Division died Monday evening as a result of wounds received when a checkpoint near Balad was attacked by unknown assailants. The attack was carried out with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. The soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. -30- |
