| May 20, 2003 Release Number: 03-05-69 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THIRD INFANTRY SOLDIER SHOT BAGHDAD, Iraq - A 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) soldier was shot in the chest at a traffic control point Monday evening. The soldier is in stable condition a Forward Surgical Team facility. The soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation. |
