| May 13, 2003 Release Number: 03-05-42 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO MARINES KILLED IN ACCIDENTAL EXPLOSION CAMP CHESTY, IRAQ - Two First Marine Expeditionary Force Marines died May 12 of wounds inflicted when unexploded ordnance they were handling detonated. The Marines received immediate medical attention, but died from their injuries. Their names are being withheld pending notification of their next of kin. The incident is under investigation. |
