IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Jan 9, IRNA -- Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Fereydoun Abbasi Davani said Wednesday that the future talks will enjoy positive outcome if representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency recognize Iran's rights.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of two nuclear scientists Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan and Reza Qashqaie, he said the IAEA representatives should enter future talks without prejudgment.
The fresh talks, to be held on January 16, will have fruitful outcome if the UN nuclear watchdog is determined to lighten the realities in a fair manner and recognizes the rights of the Iranian nation, he stressed.
On the present situation of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran, the AEOI chief said the plant has joined the country's electricity network since January 4 with its full capacity.
