VP: Iran looking positively at talks with 5+1
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA -- Vice President Mohammad Reza Mir Tajeddini said Iran looks at talks with the 5+1 on its peaceful nuclear program with a positive attitude.
He said that Iran carries on a clear and transparent dialogue on its peaceful nuclear program and will continue with it within the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The VP in charge of supervising implementation of the constitution stressed that Iran will rely on its usual logic in the future talks with the 5+1 to powerfully defend its peaceful nuclear rights.
He also noted that certain outsiders do not want Iran's nuclear talks with the 5+1 to come to any conclusion and thus try to term it futile even before it starts.
Tehran was not afraid of any talks and negotiations, Mir Tajeddini said, adding that Iran's overall nuclear policies are the same ones already declared and illustrated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
