DAVAR also reported that an Israeli official in Washington said Iran and Syria are now producing parts for the North Korean Scud-C missile. In addition, the source estimated that the two countries are now receiving technology from North Korea to enable them to produce the entire missile domestically. According to the source, Israel believes the U.S. succeeded in halting Iranian efforts to participate in Pyongyang's development of a new missile with a reported range of 1,000 kilometers (650 miles).
