![]() | Reliable | On Oct. 23, between 40 and 50 Chechen rebels took more than 700 people hostage at the Dubrovka theater in Moscow. After a three-day standoff, Russian special operations forces stormed the theater after releasing a morphine-like anesthetic - probably fentanyl - which was responsible for the death of most of the victims. Most or all of the hostage-takers are killed as the special forces stormed the building. | |
