![]() | Reliable | Ressam took a ferry from Victoria, Canada to Port Angeles, Washington, with a trunkload of explosives. Ressam, carrying a fraudulent passport, passed without incident through a U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service inspection station in Canada. On the U.S. Customs officers, however, noticed his nervousness and gave him a closer inspection. Ressam panicked and tried to run, but was stopped. Inspectors found explosives and timing devices concealed in his rental car's truck.1 | |
