Anh Dung Boi Tinh Ngi Sao ong

Awarded for valor and heroic conduct while fighting the enemy. Awarded to All members of the Armed Forces of the United States and other Nations for valorous achievement in combat during the Vietnam conflict, March 1, 1961 through March 28, 1973. The Vietnam Cross of Gallantry is the equivalent of the French Croix de Guerre.

Life Saving Medal
Awarded for extreme bravery in risking life to rescue other people in distress, for civilians as well as military personnel.

Loyalty Medal

Wound Medal
For military personnel who had been wounded in action and to government officials wounded in the line of duty by the enemy or rebels.

Armed Forces Honor Medal 1st Class [Officer]
Awarded for non-combat contributions to the formation and organization of the Armed Forces and the training of troops and technical cadres of the various branches.

Armed Forces Honor Medal 2nd Class [NCOs and enlisted ]
Awarded for non-combat contributions to the formation and organization of the Armed Forces and the training of troops and technical cadres of the various branches.

Staff Service Medal
Awarded for staff service to the Armed Forces evidencing outstanding initiative and devotion to duty. Occasionally referred to as the Staff Service Honor Medal.

Technical Service Medal
Awarded to military servicemen and civilians working as military technicians who have shown outstanding professional capacity, initiative, and devotion to duty. Occasionally called Technical Services Honor Medal.

Training Service Medal
Awarded to instructors and cadres at military schools and training centers and civilians and foreigners who contribute significantly to training. Occasionally referred to as the Training Service Honor Medal.
