The imagery below was taken by the DigitalGlobe satellite. It is a close-up of a mosque which was left standing in the wake of the tsunami whereas all other structures and most of the vegetation nearby have been washed away. The pre-tsunami image was taken on 12 April 2004. The post-tsunami image was taken on 02 January 2005.
